Lineup bug

After injuries and call ups, I'm now unable to make the game progress further. When I would ask my assistant to fill out my lines, it would report that I didn't have enough players for a lineup. I filled the lines manually, and initially it did the same thing, but on my second attempt (without changing the lineup) it finally worked. I had 2G, 6D, and 12F dressed the whole time. If it repeats, I'll post here again. The only thing I can think of that was notable was that I only had 5D on my roster, and changed a LW to D to make 6.

And, I just had the same problem when another D went down with an injury. I called up a D and dressed him - the assistants couldn't make lines, so I had to fill the lines myself, then it worked.

Edit: My assistants continue to be unable to create a lineup despite having adequate players dressed.

I called up a weak minor leaguer so that I have 6 natural defenseman on the roster, and the assistants can handle it. I see two big problems with this - first, obviously, someone who has been switched to defense should be treated by a defenseman. Second, it's not all that unusual for an NHL team to play a game with 5 or 7 defensemen dressed.

Yeah, the AI is supposed to be able to handle odd numbers of defencemen, that got done a couple of weeks ago. So even if you hadn't called anyone up or changed positions, it should've still worked; even worse that it didn't with the right number of players. Maybe the code isn't right for the assistant, I'll get a report in.

I'll try to keep an eye on it in future builds.

I just came across another lineup issue. I've got a player due to be ready to play the following day, and I have no games that need played - so I'm trying to sim until the next game. The FHM repeatedly tells me that there are not enough players to create a proper lineup - that really shouldn't be relevant if there isn't a game to be played. If I try to Finish Today, I have the same problem.

Actually, it's worse than I thought - I have no other un-injured natural defensemen left in the organization who don't have to go through waivers before being called up - even if I do send them through waivers, they disappear - meaning I can not advance the game at all.

Sorry for the flood of messages - but I got the game to advance by choosing to let the AI Setup the organization - but that brings up another issue. A player with a day to day injury, scheduled to come back tomorrow should not by default get sent to the 7 day injured reserve in my opinion.
