Unhappy team

I'm doing a historical replay with historical transactions.
I've had four players come to the manager complaining about being unhappy.
How can I improve things in the clubhouse without being able to make any transactions?

I would turn off player personality ratings and morale.

Since you want to play actual historic no need to have these on.
