Project Help
Hello everyone -
I'm brand new to OOTP - in fact I'm still debating buying - being that I'm in a league with another game and will continue there with my pals - - That said, I have a specific project in mind and I'd like some specific guidelines for making it happen. Concept - Franchise All-Stars (1961-2015) single season replay What I want to do: 1. Create the teams using "best representative season" for each player (25 active and 10-20 reserves) 2. Edit their injury/durability ratings to represent their career tendencies (so that a 120-160-130-140-90-160 game guy doesn't equal a perennial 155-160 game guy just based on the season) 3. Edit in or out position ratings and occasionally adjust fielding - again to reflect some career tendencies and provide some utility. Also edit roles - so that a great #6 starter can be used in long relief, and so that I personally determine which great closer closes, and which is the setup guy. 4. Set a schedule, and Play the season using both human and sometimes robot manager, determined game by-game and making all the GM moves myself at the end of each day. 5. Turn OFF all unnecessary functions like scouting, etc. It's a simple one-season replay. ![]() ![]() If you folks can provide this kind of guidance to an almost-newbie, I'll be ready to jump in. I already have a lot of my research done and will happily share if that's possible. |
