Can't start season because of non roster invitees??
 I wanted to start a historical in 1919, gm only but in getting the attached error when I try to goto opening day. Any ideas? I only have 25 players on my team so I'm not sure what the problem is... I've never really played historical before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Matty, I had the same issue trying to start a season in 1930. I tried another in 1932 and it started perfectly. I then went back and reloaded the game and still got the same error for 1930.
Curious, do you have minor leagues on?

sounds like someone (or two) isn't on the 40 man roster ..... they will have an asterisks after their name if they are on the roster. Just drag them onto the 40 man roster and that should work. it's not unusual to that message starting a new season but you must fix it in order to progress..

I don't even see the 40 man roster anywhere... maybe I messed something up.

You don't have a 40 man roster because the Red Sox have no minor league teams. I was able to move forward simply by disabling the 40 man roster rule.
