How do i add a new NON minor league

So I have a league that has been around for over 25 seasons. I now want to add to its universe a Japanese league. I tryd during the last season of the major league.

The Japanese league only played 2 games and then went into the playoffs. then the game file froze at creating Player cards.

I then deletes the new Japanese league and the file went back to working correct.

So the question is . How do I make a league that is NOT a minor league in the same file as the Major League?

You need to post in OOTP 17. The MLBM 2016 app does not have this feaure on the phone.
