Help with a League I am trying to make.

Hello, I am not new to the game but am trying something I had not done before and I am having unexpected results.
I am a Mariner fan and since this year is their 40th anniversary I thought I would create a 40 team league with teams from all year to battle it out. I got through adding each historical team. And when I clicked start everything looked good. Then I looked at the players and noticed that they were all aged to how old they would be in 2017 instead of what age they were in that year. Did I miss a setting? I even tried again (using only 4 teams because 40 takes awhile to setup) and the same thing happened even using advanced mode. I even saw text saying that the players information including birth years would be adjusted based on what year you pick to run this league in.

Sorry for the long post, but any help is appreciated.

i think that's normal?

maybe during game creation it's different?

main reason for reply is a workaround if oyu want... can export players, edit YoB column per team -- can make *quicker work of it with a spreadsheet and using a formula. at least the palyers from each team come from teh same yeaer correct? if not, this would be toomuch effort required.

Yeah, I ended up exporting it and working some Excel magic last night... I was hoping for an easier answer for the future. Oh well.

type 1 formula, fill for that team

rinse & repeat 30 times (for all the teams and their years, lol.)

i did this once when transplanting players from one league to another reusing playerids. 10s to do... 30 teams or more is another story for sure.
