Prices In Canada?
Why is the price for Franchise Hockey Manager 5, $51.32 CAD on the OOTP Site and $40.95 CAD on Steam?

Just noticed that, already put the pre-order in for the DRM-free version.
Good question. |

Thanks I don't mind spending the $100, I always get two copies, but if it is only $81, I can find places for the balance.....

Others might correct me but afaik eSellerate and Steam do the exchange rate and we can´t do anything about it.

I give one to my son, he is a broke university engineering student. Plus I don’t mind supporting OOTP.

It's usually better for Canadians to select the US$ price on eSellerate and let their credit card company/bank handle the conversion. I don't know where eSellerate gets their exchange rates from, but they're always very unfavourable.

At the end of the day, with the CAD at 0.77 USD it'd be a ~$5 difference to let the bank do the exchange rate. Not a huge deal. But Steam seems less extreme with their exchange rate. Last edited by omjo; 09-27-2018 at 10:46 PM. |
