Development/ Strategy
I was wondering.. I am trying to turn around the Red Wings and after one season where I mostly traded away older players for younger ones with potential. I am just wondering what you guys do to maximize the potential in your players that have 3,4,5 star potential. I want to see the few 4 or 5 star potential guys I have reach that potential if possible. I kept on Jeff Blashill as my coach because of his high ratings for coaching prospects, then hired a bunch of assistants that were rated high in that area as well. I then signed Bobrovsky to be my goalie for the coming years, which might have been dumb, but I wanna see the young guys hopefully develop while having a goalie that can win us games. Am I on the right track??

You are on the right track!
I would add : -You should maximize your training to the player with the more potential -You should put those high potential player on the 1st or 2nd line// pairing |

Make sure to keep an eye on how well they adapt to playing in the NHL when they are there. If they're having consistently bad games, then you'll want to send them to the AHL so they can develop properly. I'd also control your AHL squad, so you can set the training for the best prospects on that team.
