Cannot load league

Logged in from OOTP home screen after successfully joining a league. User ID is And_one.

Completed 3 rounds of simulations.
Successfully downloaded updates through 3 rounds.
Put the laptop down for about 30 minutes.
Noted that my stats will still at 3 - 0.
Reloaded the screen from the OOTP home screen
Was prompted as expected to load an updated file.
Unfortunately each time the game loaded, received the error message
---> An error occurred while loading the database Could not load teams file.

No Autosave file, I guess was saved. so game can't restore..

Stuck at this point.
