Connecting dads to son

so, i do love the "father/son-feature" in the game today!

I wanted to add a thread that makes connection between father and sons that are missed by the developers today! That way it can be added in the next update?

First;Elias Lindholm (Calgary) are the son of Mikael Lindholm!

Not a famous player but have som AHL/NHL games

Second; Jonathan Dahlen have a quite famous father, Ulf Dahlen.

Do the database also include non-nil players as "fathers"? For example, Joel Eriksson Eks @ Wilds father Claes Eriksson

Speaking of connections between players, will siblings be officially listed in the game in future iterations? So far it seems like the only link between brother is that they have good line chemistry with each other.

Furthermore, Oskar Lindblom’s father is incorrectly listed as Johan Lindbom (at least in the beta version DB).

Thanks, we'll get these updated. There was a database issue that we corrected a little while ago that pointed some of the sons to the wrong fathers, the fix seems to have worked in about 99% of the cases, but there are still a few wrong ones we're finding and fixing.

Siblings are something we'd like to add, and possible things like uncles and grandfathers. Part of whether or not we can do it will depend on whether I can get the data out of Eliteprospects rather than having to go back and add them all manually; at the moment the way they store the family data is a little odd, so it's defeating the ways I usually query their database.

Is there currently a way to connect father and son manually in-game? It would be cool to create a hockey family with multiple generations.

Thats a nice features to have! Pleasant surprise when I found out that Skyler Brind'Amour sons of Rod, had # 17 as prefered number ( thats his father's number)

It was nice!

It won't be in any save that was created before the last update, only new saves.
