Bronze setup
Given there are only six teams can't really complain about the setup. Two teams in each of three divisions-as long as when the real schedule comes out after the first sim the two teams in the AC west get some inter league games in with at least two of the four teams in the NC.
I will handle Bronze-may not be able to post Thursday but otherwise should be good. |

I'm guessing the yardgoats triumvirate decided not to join afterall, as they seem to always be the odd ones out (even their two stone teams are in different leagues, so if they actually friended themselves and the other teams, they would at least be in the same one)... and I haven't seen any posts from them for quite awhile.

wish those tourneys paid out achievements.... Joe Kelly pitches a no-hitter for the Waffletown Iron tourney squad!
side note: don't forget the Live cards updated their stats/ratings today, so if you have Iron/Bronze/etc tourney squads with any Live cards on them, you'll want to verify they are still intact.... had to bring in a couple new pitchers to my Iron tourney squad since two members moved out of range. |

With the start of the 2040 season, Hooterville PR department has announced that the team is sporting a uniform design change which may not be too noticeable to the casual fan
Hooterville's uniforms will now sport a zippered league logo, instead of the more traditional sewn-on patch due to the team being bounced around like a ping pong, back and forth between the Bronze Level and the Silver Level almost every year. The new uniform alteration is calculated to save the team alot of money as it is believed that they will not be required to maintain a full staff of team seamstresses. -30- |

Thanks Again PT (not)
In checking the silver, Ring Road's schedule was changed and they lost a series against Norwood, so they now have only 7 OL games, and will be on the sidelines for the crown. There are a lot of aggravating things about this game.
If not for Our League, I'd not play it at all.

I hear you buddy! I am getting more and more "motivated" to going back to creating and playing out my fictional league games, and retiring from PT permanently. All I can say is I am totally glad I don't waste real money on buying PP! |

The teams is the AC West, Jefferson Valley and Sierra Vista have 29 and 26 games respectively The NC Central Teams Ft. Huachuca and Vlora 31 and 32 games The NC West Blitzkrieg and Hooterville with 41 each. Total of 100 games, we do get off to slow start so tomorrows update will be pretty basic. |

I started a random debut league since I havent had much pack luck and the AH to me is still out of whack so I am sitting on my points. My RDL is nice distraction or I would have no interest in PT at this point

Hey Jason, I hate to burst your bubble this early into the new season however, there is no number one draft choice slot when finishing dead last in your whole league, as Hooterville found out the hard way last season. We finished with a 48-114 record. Bet you can't beat that one! ![]() Also, it may be worth it to check and make sure that your equipment manger isn't having your team's uniforms cleaned at the same place that Hooterville has been going to for years, at the "All Washed Up" Laundromat"? If so, then there maybe something bad in the soap!

Keep it rollin' boys!but hey, on those rare occasions we do get on base, we sure can steal more.... maybe they just need to steal home too, cause they sure aren't driving anything in. |

there goes the winless season..... 1-11 only got a measly 250 points for breaking the streak edit: you know it's gonna be a craptacular season when Cap Anson is batting .182 (c'mon! he has no batting rating below 92, and he's batting under the Uecker line? He's Cap Freakin' Anson!) Last edited by stl jason; 08-10-2020 at 06:13 PM. |

When I have time to play, I turn to my FM6 league which has been running more than 20 seasons. This year they've made it possible to use historical players in a fictional league, so I have mix of real and made up teams. I like it because I go through the seasons slowly, game by game. They've also released an extra update to allow for the current playoff system, with current rosters, even though they've turned to working on FHM7. I believe it's also on sale now for $9.99 for this week. It's a great game, if you like hockey, with a game engine that seems much more responsive to the player's input. |

I've been on the fence for al long time about FHM. I am also very surprised that FHM does not have PT yet. |

Bronze
Only had two OL series yesterday. Jefferson Valley swept a three game series vs. Sierra Vista and Hooterville took two of three from from Ft. Huachuca.
A look at the PT standings. |

Waffletown Sets Early Pace in OL G305
Despite their tough start overall, the Syrups managed to offer their fans hope with a hot start to lead OL.
