Help with setting up a sim
Hello!
So I’ve played OOTP for a couple of years casually but this year have really spent a lot of time in my current modern day sim. However I’d like to go back and do something different from baseball history and after watching loads of docs recently I’ve decided I want to try and do a franchise with a team at some point in the early 90’s, I’m undecided on teams yet but suggestions are welcomed! However my query is that I want it to basically just be setup like a modern day game, so like I’ve just bought OOTP 1993 edition, so all of the players who are currently in the league at that time can be who they were but I’m happy for drafted players to be randomised in potential (if that makes sense) otherwise I’ll just know who to draft each year etc. I had a mess around earlier but was confused because of my players had ‘batting/pitching/fielding stats’ tabs on their profile but also a ‘real life stats’ tab as well, is this default on all historical sims? I hope this makes sense but either way just any direction about how to get set up on a historical sim would be great, for all the video tutorials out there I couldn’t seem to find one on this. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When you are in a historical game, you’ll always have that “real life” tab. It is a great feature to compare career numbers once you are multiple seasons in. When you have the OOTP development and talent randomness set to 100+, things turn out quite different.
