Can't move players to different locations

Hi,
For some reason I'm unable to move players around in lineups, pitching staff, or to/from reserve. When I click, and hold it, on a players name, the players profile pops up. If it's double clicking, which I think it is, I don't know how to fix it. I've tried adjusting the mouse settings but that isn't working. Thanks in advance.

Maybe your mouse is on its last legs. Or you need a better touch on your touch pad or touch screen.
