iOS 14.6 2021 iPad Air. Was told this was a bug, still not fixed. Screenshot from today, wasted space on each side.

It is a bug and we've tracked it down to an issue with Apple code, but we're still working on it. It's high priority

Yeah unfortunately I reported it to apple back in June/July, and despite them telling me it has been assigned to someone, they've not responded at all.
