Importing historical players doesn't work for players debuting in 2021

I'm starting a tournament league, and in setting up the teams, I have several players who debuted in 2021.

However, when I import historical players from a text file, it does not import any of the players who made his MLB debut in 2021.

I tried uploading those players individually, but received a message that the historical import failed.

How can I bring these players into the game?

2021 players are not included in the historical db for OOTP22. They'll be in OOTP23.
