"Modding Player Cards"

Since I'm not getting any kind of response in the Mods section I have to open up a thread here.

It's about issues when putting the full name of a player in one line.
Don't want to explain everything once more, instead I'm linking and quoting.

I need to know how you're gonna handle this, to figure out if it makes sense to start working on cards where this thing is relevant (and those are many).

The way it's currently working, if you're putting first and last name in one line you're not getting a decent result with certain names. No chance. Matter of logic.

Why do you think they put all names on all default cards on different lines?

Having the full name option for modded cards is on the to-do list, but it won't be in the next update. Possibly in the final one after that.

Ok, thanks for the info. Now I know how to deal with it.

Probably won't be working on any cards where this matters, until there's a solution for it. Have to rework the cards I already did then, and certainly don't want to work on every card two times.

Additional question:
Are there plans to add the team name to cards at some point?

I've seen quite a few original cards having the team name as a very prominent element.

^^^ Just looking at that card, it brought back memories of the no-helmet era. Back in the day when none of the players wore them and free-flowing hair was the norm. Hard to believe it was once league wide, as now by today's standard, it looks so odd.

I'll see if we can add team names as well.

Funny that Unger's on the Blues in the Topps Card that year, O-Pee-Chee updated him to the Flames.
