Most of it currently is based on thr MLB/KBO rules. So ties basically are a null game, so 2-1-1 = .667 winning pct. And winning pct determines seeding and matches, so yeah, a team that goes 1-0-161 would technically finish ahead of a team that went 161-1.
So, no option for a point system similar to what is used in EPL?

And we can turn off ties in the playoffs? I get the humor some might think here, but in KBO and other leagues, I believe playoff games can end in ties?

We need some kind of mechanic where if Wazzu is about to tie anything, they instead lose.

Given that the UW so seldom wins in my save, I like this as a way to even the playing field. COME ON YOU COUGS!

I'll probably try them in my purely fictional-based universes.

I have one going that I'll carry over once again, and I might enable ties as part of that universe's "renegotiated CBA"

Don't give MLB too many ideas.

Every two innings, teams lose one defender

Ironically though I'm a huge fan of UW...I actually attended Central Michigan...who beat WSU in the Sun Bowl last year!

But they replayed those tie games from the beginning, so even more baseball.

Maybe it's because I'm used to soccer in the UK, but I really don't mind ties as a concept.

12 innings and then a tie is my personal favourite solution for baseball.

I much prefer the current extra innings rules (the 'ghost' runner - spooky ), but if you're going to have ties it might as well be after the 9th.

Is it going to be possible in OOTP23 ?

Ties are for those afraid to risk, and we weren't put on this earth to fear the outcome of a game.
