Thanks Lukas but it is very strange because when I get the opening screen for opening and installing ootp23 (Mac) it shows a picture of the "app" folder and OOTP23 Ball icon but the rest of the install window shows ootp22? I have deleted all files including configs for both OOTP22 and OOTP23 but to no avail. I keep on getting a frozen opening ootp23 screen with a quivering ball on the right and nothing else. I have to "force" quit. I know you have helped me before and directed me to program support but I am just so perplexed. Could you just indulge me a bit further on this? Thanks for your continued patience.

Yes, I was able to start another custom game using another highschool mod that have NCAA in it but the one I linked has more effort put into it so if I could that running it would be preferred.

So, I figured this out and believe it's no longer a bug. I was using the All-in-One jerseys, logos, etc. I uninstalled the game and removed those files, reinstalled and the Modify button works fine. I then added the All-in-One stuff back and the Modify button still works fine. And, yes, a 3D game works for me.


I must have placed something in the wrong folder or done something in my first install to cause the error. Anyway, all is well.



I've attached three trace files, just in case, from three different games that crashed on me: a 22 import, a custom created in 23, and an MLB created in 23. Thanks!

Well Lukas it's been 2 days and no word from customer support. It seems that it is a lot slower dealing with customer support than through the forum.

PT23 Beta Build 50: Still crashes on pack opening (unpacking). I was told that my system could do the 3D pack openings because it requires OpenGL 3.1, which I have. Attached is a trace file. I am open to other potential solutions and setting changes.

Two bugs interconnected. Firstly in my random historical game loaded real pics of current players are replaced with their facegen pics when the game is shut down/restarted. After reloading the real player pics and starting a game in classic 2D the game crashes when the 'start game' button is pushed. The game starts normally after restart.

The first thing sounds like the settings to load real photos first got changed. If you check this in the settings, can you manually change back?

The crashing issue is much harder to say. Can you do this again and after the crash, get us a copy of the trace file: https://support.ootpdevelopments.com...debug-log-file

The big problem here is that this is really a tech support issue, where something is borked on your end, not a bug we need to fix up.

Yeah, we did not have a fix for this in build 51. I hope (but can't promise) we might have a fix next build though.

Ok Lukas a BIG SHOUT OUT to you for your help. I went back to your initial suggestion and it worked. It was really the fault of the apple OS where it is extremely difficult to find the "appdata" file but once I found it and deleted it it worked like a charm! No issues just a big THANK YOU!

An error occurred when loading the database. Could not load injuries file.

I've Googled this and seen that it's been a problem for other years of OOTP, and I've tried the solutions that people have offered, but either I failed in implementing them correctly or they just didn't work.

That message pops up when I try to first import my OOTP 22 game
into my newly purchased OOTP 23.

So far I've tried:
- Reinstalling OOTP 23
- Changing the save path
- Deleting the database folder, as one post from years back recommended
- Copying the files from the older OOTP version over to the new one. Perhaps I didn't copy the correct ones? I don't know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm off this weekend and I can respond promptly.

Crash help

I rotate games between 2D, Web & 3D. When starting a season I get two 2D and the game crashes and I go back to the windows startup page. Once in awhile I will get to Web play the game and try to get to 3D, but it crashes back to windows. I've tried every possible setting, but still crashed.

Any help would be great
