Can someone please help me understand what is happening
Hello. I am new to Perfect Team. I don't know what the heck is happening and I cannot find any tutorial to explain this format. (All I can find is you tube videos highlighting 'new features' from each year's release)
My confusion is thus: After opening my initial pack(s) and learning the card system I logged into see my team had played something like 60 games. Um-okay. My team sucked and I made some adjustments and spent more time on the details. I logged in the following day and the team had reached about 90 games. This "league" I was in was very very large, maybe 60 teams?? I made more adjustments and within a couple days the 'season' ended?? Because I logged in today and NOW I am in a 'league' with only 8 teams, but two of them are in a 'wildcard' spot? And I just played a team that is not even shown in my league. I am in a division. In this league there have already been 16 games played... What is happening? Can anyone help me? I don't understand this. : how do I know how well I am doing? : do I have any say in what "league" I am in? : is there a resource that maps out the structure and process of perfect team? I dig this format, and I apologize for a bunch of questions that I am sure are silly to veterans of this. I have played OOTP franchise so I am very comfortable and confident on the platform. I simply wanted to try Perfect Team, been getting into cards of late. And I am LOST. |

You're in the entry pool. You play a ton of games to help you earn points that you can use to improve your team.
On Monday morning, you'll be placed in a 'real' league with most likely 29 other teams. If you have 'friends' in the game (the friend list), and select that option, the game will try to get you all together if you're in the same level. Otherwise, it's 100% random. You're doing well in Entry Pool if you're raking in the PP. None of the results carry over except for that. Once you're in real leagues, your history accumulates.

My assumption is that you were in the entry pool until yesterday when you were placed on an actual Rookie League, with real divisions, standings, etc. Leagues play Monday-Saturday (hence starting your real league yesterday), with each day simulating about a month’s worth of games.
You’ll play the traditional 162 games over those six days and Sunday is the postseason for the teams that qualify. Depending on your teams performance, they will be promoted, demoted, or stay in the same league level, although there’s no demotion from the initial rookie league.

Each season is a week long. Depending on how you do each week, your team is either promoted or relegated. Entry pool as the others said. Your players don't age.
