Jersey/caps all disappeared

I took the time to load in logos/caps/jerseys for all 30 teams in my fictional league.

Then I simmed forward and noticed to start of next season and noticed in the schedule page that many of my teams no longer had their custom jerseys and were back to generics...

I thought maybe it was new players who hadn't yet had their new uni generated, so I ran "update/generate all pictures" in Facegen settings, but that didn't fix the issue.

Now, in fact when I check the team settings, all the new logos I put in are still there for main logos, but small logos, ballcaps, and home and away jerseys are back to generic defaults.

I don't ever recall having this issue in my years with OOTP. And I don't want to go through and add them all back in again until I figure out what the issue was that caused this.

Only thing I can think .. I loaded all the files in from a generic folder on my desktop where I had everything saved ... Do the files actually need to be moved to the specific league images folder in order to stick around?

This. The game reloads graphics from the 'save folder' except for the big logos which come out of the main logo folder. So check to see if the files in the game folder are the ones you want/expected.

Also, you need to make sure the team graphics all follow the standard naming convention for this save. If not, the game will generate generic graphics. I suspect this is what happened to you.

At the bottom of the screen that comes up with the modify settings for uniforms, logos, etc. there should also be a lock toggle box to prevent updates.

That seems to be toggled on by default and all teams have that on, so not sure... Maybe it's to do with it being a promotion/relegation league and things getting moved around.
