Tie Breaker Criteria for Batting Title
Does anyone happen to know what the criteria is for breaking a tie for the batting title? The game announced Carbin as the batting champ.
Shouldn't Johnson get a Triple Crown here? _ |

My guess is it's going by 4 decimal places. Otherwise, yeah, I'd give it to the player with more AB.

They are not tied. The averages are just rounded off to three digits, this is simply they way averages are displayed. But to determine the batting champion the full unrounded numbers are always used.
In your example C. Johnson has 199 hits in 616 AB for an average of 0,32305194805194805194805194805195. C. Darbin has 184 hits in 569 AB for an average of 0,32337434094903339191564147627417. So Darbin wins the batting title by 0,00032239289708533996758952822221715 points. Johnson did well but Darbin was clearly better.
