Best Way to Achieve This?
I want the Crawfords to exist in MLB but I don't want the other MLB teams to sign any Negro League players.
I plan on just creating them as an expansion team and manually moving the existing Crawfords players from the NEL team to the MLB Crawfords. Do I enable color barrier or no? I'm curious if I enable it, if the CPU will just move any of the Crawfords players to the NEL after the season, I *think* that might be the case which is the worst case scenario here. If I disable it, the CPU will certainly sign NEL players. Which I can manually move back to the NEL, but looking for a cleaner way. If I disable color barrier but not allow FA from other leagues, that stops any other indy leagues from becoming MLB players. That might be my best bet though? |

Hmmm, unchecking Allow FA from other leagues, didn't stop MLB teams from signing NEL players once color barrier was removed.
That's odd. Aren't they FA from another league? Edit: Seems like they are classified as minor league free agents and not from another league. Guess my best bet is to manually put back anyone the MLB signs. That's suboptimal. Last edited by omg_pwnasaurus; 03-23-2023 at 08:05 PM. |
