How to Download Patches/Updated App

Silly question here. How/where do we find patches/new versions of the game today and on 3/15 when the final version is released?

I downloaded directly from OOTP (not through Steam) on a Mac. Just want to make sure I don't miss any patches/builds and avoid messing up my current save.

Already posted new patch in 30 minutes with a change lists.

When the patch comes out today (and any patch hereafter) it will post in this forum as a sticky. Just download the new .exe file and install it. You don't need to do anything with your existing game as the installation wizard that comes up when you launch it will do the work (same as it did on the initial installation).

So you are in the right place

one important thing in the update list you can see which new changes require starting a new game to take effect, not all changes made by the OOTP team are automatic in your save.

Perfect, thanks! I'm OK with my current roster set so should be all good. Unless those are usually massive changes! Assuming it's just like edits to some players ratings/positions/other attributes?

Usually yes, but there are times when they fix birth dates, or strange behaviors of the CPU with respect to some players.

Today's patch and all future patches will be posted as a sticky in this forum. Simply download the new .exe file and install it. There's no need to take any action with your current game, as the installation wizard that appears when you launch it will handle everything, just like it did during the initial installation.
