Question about Stats
Hello. Is there a way to find the file with the full Stats of all players of a previous year? I mean some kind of XML file, because in-game there's no chance of finding it. Thanks in advance.

MLB>Transactions>Players>MLB player list Then make yourself a view of all of the stats you want for batters and then one for pitchers. Once you have them all setup, click on REPORT and Write Report to CSV Make sure if you want minors click the box that says include minors and if you want FA's or not you can uncheck that if you want. You can do up to 2 years ago and last year by using the SPLIT option >Timeframe>last year and 2 years ago

You mean the stats you find under the league history index? You can't see MLB wide but you can per league.

Just setup this view with all the data you want, pick your timeframe of 1 year or 2 years, or none on the first drop down for this season. Last edited by twins_34; 12-12-2024 at 01:52 AM. |

You can make selective data dumps automatic at the end of a season - going forward.
leage-wide stats or player stats. Under almanac? you'll see the various checkboxes and then pick and choose what you want written to file each year. If you are going to make your own spreadsheet or dB, might want to include the headers at the top. This'll just be a comma-delimited file. you can make a spreasheet or there may be a compatible 'stats lab' or whatever in the mods forum... something used to exist but no idea if it still does. Worth a look to you. you should be able to export player stats and such. you can definitely see year-by-year league totals stats. Between those two, you can recreate any form of comparison with a little spreadhseet and/or dB know-how. |
