Website using DB dumps?

Anyone attempted to build a website using the db dumps yet?

yeah its something i wanted to start myself, but my knowledge of using mysql/php can only go so far, i cant do the things i want to do with it.

my goal was to have something pretty basic set up by my conversion target time (the middle of October) but i may have to push the website stuff back until i have more time to learn some stuff, or until someone releases something public.

i'll also mention that i am willing to work with anyone if they are interested in trying to work a DB driven website in order to get it out there.

like i said, my knowledge is limited.
