Disabled list question?

I have a player who was injured and required 4 months of not player. I put him on the max 60 day DL and his time is now up. What I'm trying to figure out is can a renew that player who is injured for another 60 days? If so how do I go about it. If not what do you do with your player who are injured and out of DL time?

not sure if i am reading this right...is both is DL time and injury time both up? u said he got injured for 4 months and u put him on the 60 day DL, u wont come off of the dl until both DL time and injury time r up and from what i know of no u cant give him another 60 day stint on the dl, but i have never bothered toi try to right click on a guy to see if that part is possible since once i put someone on the 60 day dl i tend to fill his 40 man roster spot and then i make amove to get that player back from the 60 day dl.

It's a person who's DL time is up not injury time. I just was curious since it says DL time none but injury time 2 months, didn't know if there was a need to try and put him on the DL or just let him ride it our after DL time is off. I have been just letting them ride out the rest of their injuried time.

You can leave a player on the 60 day DL indefinitely. That's sort of the point of the 60 day DL. It takes the player off of your 40 man roster and frees up the spot for a long-term replacement. The only drawback is that you can't take that player off the list before the 60 days are up. So using it as a way to sock away players who you don't want to burn a roster spot on but still want to keep is probably not a good idea.

So yeah, if you have a guy who is out for 6 months you don't need to reset their status on the DL after the 2 months are up. Once the 60 days have passed you can call the guy back up whenever you want. Obviously, it's a bad idea to call a guy who is going to be out for several months up to your 40 man roster but hey, whatever floats your boat.
