Players disappearing when the number of foreign players is reached

I am playing with DEL's Straubing, and a soon as I signed a foreign player, which made me have 10 foreign players instead of 9 possible, one disappeared without warnings. I think it would be great to warn the player when he is proposing a contract to a foreign player that the limit is already reached !

Was he released, or did he disappear from the game entirely?

I'm playing in the OHL same thing happens to me after July 1 my Import draft pick is gone he signed with me and moved past July 1 and he was gone when you click on him in the news feed it takes you to a different player.

Also not sure if related but when I go to July 2nd game crashes every time. This is my first offseason.
