Moving Cities / Gaining a bigger budget

So I finally got my team to be young and dominate. I won four straight series and lost in the 5th one - game 7.
But now I face the issue of losing a fair amount of my guys because I am in a small market and I think my budget is maxed.

Would moving cities change the market size and make my owner give me more money or is it a lost cause?

any suggestions?

your market size will increase over time....but don't expect much. I'm playing as the Cubs and did a fantasy draft. My market size is 'average' and hasn't budged in 15 years. Within those 15 years I've won 10 WS and been the playoffs every year.

Seems realistic to me(sarcasm).

I've never seen the budget increase in iootp12, and I won something like 25 out of 28 world series in a row. Dunno about 13.

I saw the budget, fan loyalty, and market size increase in iOOTP 12 quite a bit. Granted it took years, but it does increase. I've seen my fan loyalty and budget increase in iOOTP 13, but not market size yet. However I should mention that in last years game the market size didn't really increase unless you had extremely high fan loyalty. Yes it would increase without extremely high loyalty, however that was extremely rare and only when your market size was really really small.

Isn't Market size the population of the city? Not sure I understand why it would fluctuate much at all. A small market doesn't increase much in 10 years and neither does a large market decrease. Just my 2 cents. Now fan loyalty I can see based on winning.

My budget in '12 stayed at 190m, and and I was over 150 years in the game. In '13 20 years in, and still at 190m

My budget has gone up $10M for each time I've made the playoffs. I'm now at $120M

Yankees have a bigger market than the Mets. That's because they've won a lot. City size determines how big a market can get.
