Player Retirement
The players retired a month late in my game on Aug 1st instead of Jul 1st. Not only that but their were some weird retirements (Hiller and Gleason among them). I now have almost 6 mil in cap but all the reasonable players have been taken through free agency in the past month.

Since the 0.9.40 version, I noticed the same problem. The list of retired players is still pretty huge, containing top players regardless of age ans health (D.Sedin, Z.Chara, P.Datsyuk, ...). I even saw immediate retirement during the season (B.Sutter after injury 10 months post concussion).
And, it is impossible to see the profile of these newly retired players, it appears another (regenerated ?) player profile. |

They are usually nobodies from back in the early days of the NHL. Only once was I able to see someone's page. I was clicking back through some pages and it came up in the sequence between the nobody and my mail list.
Another weird one was players retiring mid contract (Gleason had 3 years left on a 4+ mil contract, I had just signed Dan Ellis) or like you said at young ages. I saw a few AHL/NHL level players who were right on the edge of making it to the big league. Edit: And now it gets interesting. Retired players are staying in the lineup... Iggy retired yet he still has a spot in the Pens lineup. It lists him as having straight 0's for stats. I noticed this happened with all three of my retired players as well.
