Is there a way to create players in a historical simulation

You will have to be in Commissioner mode... Click on League Transactions, then you should be at your League Transactions page, click Free Agents tab, then you should be at your list of Free Agents, look at the bottom right of your screen and your should see a tab, Create Fictional Player(s), click that tab and your there...
