Historical Retirements

Currently running a league of great historical teams pitted against each other. How do I prevent players from retiring at the end of each year. I want to be able to keep teams intact, such the 2007 Red Sox. At the end of the year, they had three players retire, leaving the team with a shortage of players.

Doing something similar myself, the way may be to run the league in replay mode. It may be you have them in career mode which means they will age then eventually retire.
