Importing Season from 16 to 17 using Spritze DB

If i have been using Spritze DB for my career in OOTP 16, when I import it to '17 do I have to manually change the path. Will it even work using Spritze DB? Hope my hard work isn't lost with this years version.

Depends on if the structure of the database is the same in 2017. You'd have to ask Spritze. Generally there are slight changes each year and Spritze updates his database accordingly but I don't know where this year stands.

That post really doesn't answer the question, as it pertains to importing players individually, not leagues that use Spritz as the basis for their league. I just ran a test on my HSBL online league that uses Spritz, and after importing into OOTP17 you need to go to

Game settings / League settings /Historical and make sure the path to the database points to the folder with the spritz Db in it and the draft pools will be picked up correctly and import the players at the younger Spritz age

In the example above notice the path points back to the OOTP16 folder, you could move the Spritz Db to OOTP 17 if desired, so long as the Database path is correct, it should work

i might not ever actually use this, but you never know .... thanks for the heads up. At least, i know it can be done ....
