Question About Historical Seasons / Exhibitions
Hey all - long time player of OOTP, just now getting around to hanging out on the forums.
So, I just got OOTP 17 last week and have a quick question: Is there a way to do a historical exhibition with one historical team and one present team? Like the 2004 Cubs vs the 2016 Cubs, for example? Also: In the custom leagues, Is there a way to intermix present day and historical teams? Again, for example, Is there a way to have the 2004 Cubs, 1969 Cubs, 2016 Cubs and 1908 Cubs in the same division? Many thanks! |

The new Historical Exhibition mode allows you to set up an exhibition game or series between two historical teams. This mode can be accessed from the OOTP main menu. If you want to create a league with historical teams from different years, you can do that, too. It's a bit more complicated. The manual describes the process: Out of the Park Developments Online Manuals
It may take a bit of trial and error to get the hang of it. But after that, it's easy to do. |

Oh, and you can't include teams from 2016 since this year (and its stats) is not in the historical database yet.
