Trace mode

When having trouble getting my game to work I must have somewhere enabled the game to start with trace mode enabled and I can't figure out/remember how I did it. Now it says the game is running it every time I start it and that the game will be slower (shopping players takes ages)..

So my question is how do I disable trace mode?

Go to this page and follow the instructions for whatever system you're on, but just do the opposite in the last step. Instead of changing the 0 to 1, change the 1 back to 0

File -> Settings -> Troubleshooting tab. Or from the start screen, click on the "game settings" link near the bottom of the screen.
