I've been playing an historical league from 1950 as manager of the Boston Red Sox, and I'm currently up to June 26, 1955, when I got the following message"
Good Morning, Larry,

I'd like to inform your that the following historical transaction(s) were executed today.

H. Agganis decided to retire.

I wonder if the fact that Agganis died on that date had anything to do with his decision?
