Fictional player creation
Just bought version 17 recently. Haven't played the game for a few years, so a bit rusty. Running a historical league, but want to include fictional players in the draft.
So when I create them, I'm making them draft eligible, and I take note of the names it gives them so I can go and edit them. But when I look for them in the free agents list, I can't always find them. So where do they go? Also, I'm having trouble with the player search feature. When I enter a surname in the field at the top of the screen, and click on the magnifying glass, it's not finding anyone. ??? Thanks for any advice. |

if you made them eligible for the draft, they are not in the free agent list, they are in the draft list, which is not visible until 30 (or less) days before the draft. However, if you made note of the names, you can search for the names and they will be displayed so you can edit them (They will be noted as with "no team".) when you search for them.
Oh, and don't click on the magnifying glass to find anything. Just type the name and hit enter. i think the magnifying glass is just an indicator for the search box. At least, it never works for me. good luck. this should work, as i do it all the time adding my list of Negro League players.
