Historical minors 2017

I reached 2017,with my historical minors turned on. At that point no fictional draftees were created and my minors turned into a reserve roster. What should I change and when should those changes be made?

From here on you need to become fictional?

I thought the game would automatically go fictional and keep the current minor league teams instead of reverting to reserve rosters. Would I turn off the historical components at ththe beginning of 2016 after the draft or the end of 2016 regular season to get fictional players in the draft?

I would pefer Random Historical guys for Draft besides like Seth Beer and so on.

1) Make a backup. Don't uncheck the button. Move forward & see what happens.
