Transferring Saves Help
Hello, wasn't sure where to put this, never had to do it before. The SSD on my MacBook Air had a mechanical failure and had to be replaced. My data could not be recovered, but I had some things (not everything) backed up. Luckily this included all my data from OOTP 18.
I just put everything back on my new hard drive after getting the computer repaired. Could someone explain to me how I can get all my saves back on the game after I re-download? I'm assuming with logos and stuff I can just drag them back into the logos folder, but I don't want to accidentally corrupt my save files. Thanks in advance!

if you used default install directories, it should be placed inthe same exact spot.
so, just depends on where the data folder is or wherever the mac version keeps all the <name>.lg saved leagues. any custom files simply place in teh appropriate directories as you thought... that's where the "saved games" diretory is too... and "backups" etc... so you already know the location. any custom files used in an existing leageu are still there, no worries... if they are blank, when you load check the "full re-load of logos blah blah" [sic] . if any custom files do "replace" an ootp installed file, you'll have to re-copy that custom logo each time you patch the game -- not too important htis year, but for future reference Last edited by NoOne; 08-10-2017 at 09:02 PM. |
