Adding new league resets all logos and depth charts?

Hi all,

I recently added a new independent, fictional league in my save. After I did so, though, all logos reset themselves, meaning that lots of the custom CephasJames logos and jerseys that I'd uploaded for doznes of teams all reverted back to alternate versions.

Also, the AI took over my entire organization's depth charts for no reason - they promoted certain prospects to the majors that I didn't want, and sent down a bunch of players I wanted to keep in the majors.

My question is: will this happen every time I add a new indy league? Is there any way to avoid this scenario happening?

it is weird that it reset things that you control.. not sure on that stuff... maybe self-inflicted maybe just happens? easy to miss a little checkbox here or there.

if you have custom logos and such, make sure a copy is located in the main "ootp18\data" directories of the proper name (eg logos in "data\logos").

when you load the game, check the only box available at bottom-right of load window. it will reload logos and colors and such. if named properly, it will re-do all of your changes. (maybe one of these checkboxs exists while adding a league or simply auto-runs due to adding the league etc..)

if you don't have a copy of those logos and such, it will be a much longer process to fix.

one other caveat -- if named the same as an 'original ootp' file (from install), then you need to replace that file after any patch/update/install or restoration of data directories from Troubleshooting option... since we are on the last patch, no problem for ootp'18. keep in mind for future though... always a good idea to keep all your custom files in a safe place anywhere outside of an OOTP install directory.
