What is the "fillable circle" used for

The dark gray circle to the far left seen on many pages, like the roster, fills in with a white color when clicked. OK. Why? How is it used? Searched Google, tried F1, read manual and I can't find reference to it.

It has to be a tool to make something easier to do or something new to do but unless I read what it is used for it is of no help. Thx in advance.

It's a selection option where you can select one or multiples of items (such as players) do to certain tasks easier.

"select all" when you click top-most "radio button"

when you right-click to do something with a selection, it says "X Players..." at top of context menu instead of an indivudual's name. useful for double-checking

Thx all who responded. I clicked three players on my roster to test it and I could not figure out the "select all" on top-most radio button. I clicked 3 players in a row then right clicked the radio button and there was no context menu,

I cleared all then went to top most radio button and again no "select all" on a right click or left click (left click just is on/off, of course).

I did see where the right click showed "X # of players selected" on right click menu.

Could you please again explain the "select all" --tried various ways and no can do. Thx very much again to all who responded.

right-click the player name like you normally would do. may not be a clickable area over the radial or stats/ratings etc.

I have already used the Tag Controls (Mass Select) and retired a few hundred useless elderly players in my game. This a an example of using the tool. The two main things I do with it is to promote/demote players when I am cleaning up rosters after the draft/ST and offering multiple MiLB contracts to FA.

they need to implement Shift-click for selections... like how it works in the windows file explorer / folder views etc. and most any program in windows, actually.

that would be very useful... ctrl-click is already available with radio buttons, so that's not needed... sometimes i want to click these 5 then skip a couple than another block of names etc... clicking 30 times in that situation is not efficient.

I use it to mass select players I want to lock to a minor league level. I can then use the AI to promote and demote with my blessing while leaving the players I don't want to be moved alone.
