All-time Franchise League

Was hoping for some guidance...interested in starting at All-Time Franchise league, building rosters for each team with the best players from the history of each franchise. Can anyone offer some insight into how to go about setting up such a league, if possible. Thanks in advance.

not certain on the league, but the game comes with an All-Time Greats Quickstart built into it. You can access from start page New Quickstart Game. Possibly those teams can be edited to suit your needs? Don't know as i've not used it, but it may be a good starting point. Something to look at maybe?

There is no fast way of doing it. You need to create a custom league, delete the players, rename the teams and then import all of the historical players you chose. You can put the players on the correct teams by either specifying the team if you're using a .txt file to import, manually drafting the players to their teams, or by going into the Player Editor and manually placing the player on a team.

Would also like to do like what the OP wants. But coming from Strat-o-Matic, OOTP18 to me has the most convoluted, UN-intutive interface/menus. OOTP19 ad says the interface has been redesigned. Will it be more intuitive and clear?

Now I'm 63, have built, worked with computers and software for the past 30 years but this menu/interface just frustrates me and I don't find the "manuals" all that helpful.

At least you have some understanding coming into the game. I had none and spent hours yelling at the computer when trying something new in this game. Patience is all I can recommend and it will work out, I also played Strat-O-Matic for more years than I care to admit and this easily 100X the experience of Strat-O-Matic.
