Goalie Starts

I'm a GM and don't have control over goalie start settings. However there's a flaw in the AI logic. I have Carey Price but my backup goalie who is a significant step down keeps getting starts over him. He is also listed as hot when he's had far more bad starts than good starts. Any suggestions on what to do?

There'll be an adjustment in the next update that restricts the effect of hotness on goalie selection according to the ability level of the goalie, so a weak backup won't get used as often, even if he's hot.

There's still an issue here. I've had my backup goalie starting most of the season in a different Franchise. It isn't a problem because my goalies are something like a half point difference in skill and the "back up" has been lights out and could be a Vezina candidate. So I don't think there's an issue there.

HOWEVER, one of my two skilled goalies got hurt and I had to call in what should have been an emergency back up. But he had 4 flames from his games in the AHL and got the start in that game.

Edit: It also might be because I had back to back games. Still seems odd though that a 1.5 star backup would get in at all.
