Question about these patch updates

I saw where the newest update has an update to the draft player pool, but I’m wondering if this will get updated again either before or after the draft? This would determine whether I start a new game yet or not. If it will be updated again I may just wait til that update comes to begin my game. Also, is the game updated after july 2nd to include more players that sign as free agents? This makes me think I should wait until after the actual draft and ifa period begins to start a game so it has the most players. I have never had this game before so I am learning that having an early roster is greatly affected by all these updates.

Yes, the draft pool will be getting updated (rerated, new players added etc) with every patch. There are actually not a huge amount of changes to the draft this patch, there will be far more going forward in the next patches, and definitely probably the most changes once the draft/July 2nd actually happens.
