How Can I Use the "Recalculate Player Ratings Before Season" Option in Standard Game

As the title says, I'm not seeing the option to enable that development option when I create a standard game. I use it in the Historical Games and also in the OOTP games I have as that, and I mean this w/no offence at all to programmers, is the best and most realistic option for development in my opinion. I do see a "Enable Development" box in the setup section of my Standard Game, so is it that I uncheck that box and then I get the Recalculate engine? Or is the option hidden away in a different sub-menu?

I'm not sure how you'd expect it to work in a standard game - in the historical games recalculation uses the player's approximate real-life historical career progress to update his ratings instead of the more randomized option of using the regular development routines. But there's no way of knowing how current players will develop in the future - we'd just have to guess and/or use some sort of canned, predictable development patterns for everyone, which wouldn't be very interesting. Turning development off in a standard game just freezes the player ratings as they are. |

No, other than taking a screenshot and frequently going back to manually re-edit the ratings the way they were. Otherwise, only turning development off for everyone would stop him from changing.
