What is the oldest a player can get in FHM5?

Is there a hard cap in the game or can an a player hit 50+ ? (rare as that might be)

No hard cap, but game-generated players will be extremely likely to be done no later than their mid-40's. The ones in the starting database have manually-set aging attributes, and those can go out of the range the generated guys get (Howe being the obvious example, he has a 29 rating out of 20.)

About the oldest I've seen a guy play at any kind of level was 42. Of course, it was a guy I traded when he was 32 because I thought he was getting a bit long in the tooth.
