Substitution Notification

Hi, I am playing the game with 3D animation and a message comes up notifying me of substitutions at the top of the screen. It only comes up for about a millisecond. The question is- Is there a way for me to lengthen the amount of time so I can actually read it, Thanks.

Please understand, OOTP is the best game I have ever played. Any questions I have are just a suggestion I have to make it incrementally better.

Yes, when playing a game, I have to constantly check if the other team's pitcher has changed for example.

It would be great if the dialog screen changed colors for a substitution.
Either change the background to a bright color like yellow or red to announce the substitution - or have bright colored fonts - or a beep or something. Seems like some sort of "alert" would be EZ to implement

I agree it happens pretty fast and sometimes you don't always see the changes as they happen.
