Exclamation Can't play Perfect Team

Hi... just purchased OOTP21 and tried to start playing PT.

As the system recognized my user in OOTP20, I tried to log in with those details but got a message "Could not create your team. Please retry". I created another user and got same result.

Any help with this issue?

It's weird how there has been no Mod/Dev acknowledgement of this issue yet. This was first reported 8 hours ago here:

I also see some Steam Community posts which may be talking about the same problem.
This is happening on both the Steam (21.3 Build 45) and standalone (21.2 Build 40) version of the game (tested using my 2nd license.)
Seems like a persistent issue affecting multiple (all?) new players...

Hello Players,

I apologize for the registration problem.

Before anything else, can you guys verify that you received a registration email and that you were able to active your accounts? If you were successful, you should have seen a screen that looks something like this:

Hi Mark,

Yes, this is after confirmation of the account (speaking for myself here) - is it even possible to log in to PT before doing this?
It's after you've logged in, and you see the 6 starter packs + 1000PP.
Then when you click 'Play Perfect Team', you get the error reported by players.

Alrighty, we have found the evil line of code that has is plaguing our systems and preventing you guys from making a new team. A fix is being implemented as I write this and will be online within the next day.

Again, my apologies for the delay and we hope to see your teams in game tomorrow (if not sooner).
