RDL in promo/rel world?

So, I am guessing that RDL stands for "Random debut league", but have no idea what promo/rel means.

But I am almost 60. Anyone from the Twitter age?

I am just over 50, so still have the ability to interpret from these sub-50 year old adolescents for you geriatrics and vice versa.

Promo / Rel refers to promotion / relegation leagues.

In a nutshell, leagues with multiple tiers where you first must prove yourself at a lower tier prior to advancing to a higher tier in any given season where you can compete for the championship.

Yes, it can definitely be done. Check out the below link that should take you to this specific topic and how to set it up...

OOTP 21 Manual

Most of it is Greek to me to be honest as I have not used this function myself, but several Online Leagues do so it works. Long and short of it is you add more unaffiliated leagues and then select relegation in the Option Tab during League setup. You should be able to do the same in an existing league once you add an unaffiliated league to it.
