Delayed roster moves - took 5 games to happen!

Last night, before I headed to bed, I had five games left to go in PT, and I made some roster moves. I was in the middle of a 17-games-in-17-days stretch, and I had some tired bullpen arms. Brought up a couple from reserves, sent two down.

I woke up this morning to find that the 2 I sent down still had 14 days left before I could call them back. Investigated a little more and found that one of the games played AFTER I made the manual moves featured BOTH the players I had previously sent down. None of the 5 scorelines included anyone I had brought up.

It's like those 5 days were wasted! Nothing I wanted to happen actually happened until after the day's games were done. AI glitch, or was there a back-end problem that would allow games to be played but roster moves not to happen until the problem got fixed? Or is there some kind of obscure rule that dictates no roster moves on day one of a given season?

In any event, I went 2-3 over that stretch and I feel I could have done better if those roster moves had happened when they were actually made. Almost as if the game decided when the roster moves happened instead of me. Something cray-cray going on here!
