Service Time Error for One Team Only
Online League started with OOTP 21
One member of league noticed that one team solely in the league is having service times for players on MLB roster get wacky. I've attached three screenshots of the same player. Franco has already had 2.5 years at the MLB level but his MLB service time shows just over one year of time despite 363 days on the MLB roster this year. The Rays will get him for 8 years of control in this scenario (showed in salary screenshot). It is only the Rays team that is experiencing this issue. Anybody ever encounter this? Edit: for clarity, the first salary shown in final screen shot is the current year. He will have had four years of pre-arb control and four more years of arbitration. |

Not entire sure how that would be possible by default, unless if something weird happened to him that things didn't roll over properly last off-season. It could be possible if, say, in 2020 he got 100 days of service time, then 2021 he got 180, but if that failed to reset properly at the end of the season, so didn't tack on the full year.
If it's just one team, there's nothing to do as a whole to fix it. But in the player editor, you can simply edit the value. You may need to play around a little bit to get the calculation correct, and then may need to further double-check after the year and before the start of next year to make sure that when the rollover happens that things all got counted correctly again. |
